MICHIGAN APPAREL POPUP SHOP
In the fall of 2022, I collaborated with ShopSimmetry, a loungewear brand run by a U of M student, to create clothing and market a one-day popup shop. In addition to designing the clothing, I created a social media campaign to advertise the event in order to draw in as many customers as possible. The items and branding of the event were consistent with ShopSimmetry’s existing rhetoric, while still emphasizing the uniqueness of the popup.
APPAREL DESIGN
Bored of typical tailgate outfits, I leaned into my love of fashion to design unique, on-trend Michigan apparel. Because ShopSimmetry is a loungewear brand, we leaned into sweatsets, in addition to introducing a line of baby tees to the popup shop. The shop sold out of all items that I designed.
MARKETING THE POPUP SHOP
I created a social media campaign to advertise the event in order to draw in as many customers as possible. This was done primarily through social media, as well as spreading the word by advertising to student organizations. Online, I crafted a unique visual identity for the popup shop so that it was both recognizable as an extension of SIMMETRY’s brand and an independent entity.
