ALPHA EPSILON PHI SORORITY

Alpha Epsilon Phi is a Jewish sorority dedicated to helping women become the best they can be. As Vice President of Recruitment, I oversaw the entire rush process both internally and externally. In this role, I grew to be a leader in the chapter and have developed strong interpersonal skills as well as confidence when publicly speaking. This role taught me organization, leadership, and empathy.

VP RECRUITMENT SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize in-person recruitment events for 1,200+ potential new members

  • Conduct preparation workshops for 120 chapter members weekly during fall semester

  • Manage excel sheets of all potential new members

  • Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment where all members feel comfortable asking for help

  • Coordinate logistics such as tents, food, decorations, and furniture removal

  • Attend weekly Panhellenic meetings to ensure that AEPhi initiatives align with national regulations

  • Work with VP Philanthropy, Sisterhood, Chapter President to create presentations

  • Direct promotional video

CONTENT CREATION

I have gone above in beyond in my role, overseeing all social media initiatives for the sorority. This includes planning and managing posts for Instagram and TikTok, ensuring that messaging aligns with both AEPhi’s values as well as the Panhellenic Association’s guidelines. I have gone above and beyond in this role, as my experience and skillset have uniquely allowed me to create graphics for recruitment initiatives and philanthropic efforts.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

I, alongside 4 others, are responsible for ensuring content across AEPhi’s socials promotes our specific values, as well as furthers the goals of both the national organization and the Michigan Panhellenic Council. In this role, I plan and post Instagram content, create short-form videos for TikTok, and coordinate recruitment social media initiatives.
